Nominated by his peers and recognized as a Canadian making a positive impact in his community, Christian Vachon was named the winner of the 2021 Community Hero contest. Kubota and the Canadian Hockey League set up the contest each year to recognize local heroes across the country.
Vachon will receive a grant of $20,000 to give to the organization of his choice, alongside a VIP experience at the Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game on Feb. 2, 2022. Christian’s local team will join him and his community to celebrate his winnings.
