The Banque Alimentaire Memphrémagog (BAM), the food bank serving the entire Memphrémagog MRC is currently ramping up for its 2018 Christmas basket campaign. According to Suzanne Lafleur, the Executive Director of the food bank, last year the BAM organized the distribution of 815 Christmas Baskets, 534 of which were given out in Magog itself. “We gather all the donations and coordinate,” Lafleur said, explaining that the distribution of the baskets over the territory of the MRC is left in the hands of a collection of 13 partner organizations. “We all work together.” See full story in the Friday, Nov. 23 edition of The Record.
