According to a recent update provided by the CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS, the weekend went well in local emergency rooms even with a high volume of patients.
Extraordinary measures limiting elective and non-emergency surgeries and a request that only one caregiver or visitor accompany a patient in the ER are still in effect.
Occupancy levels at local emergency rooms are updated hourly on the CHUS website, www.santeestrie.qc.ca.
