Coaticook becomes Quebec’s 41st Village-relais

The Town of Coaticook is now part of the network of “relay villages” in Quebec. The Village-relais road sign, identifying the services offered to motorists was inaugurated this week in order to help welcome visitors.
Saint-François MNA Guy Hardy made the announcement Monday on behalf of the Minister of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and the Electrification of Transportation, André Fortin, and Luc Fortin, the Minister responsible for the Estrie region.
A “relay village” is a municipality recognized by the Ministry which draws on the support of local businesses to offer a variety of services to travellers. See full story in the Wednesday, June 20 edition of The Record.
