A milk producing farm in Coaticook has been named Milk Quality Grand Champion for a third straight year, earning the farm designation of being a Club of Excellence Honorary Patron.

Presented by Agropur, one of the top 20 dairy processors in the world, Réjean Morin and Véronique Lévesque of Ferme Morine in Coaticook were named Milk Quality Grand among 3,000 Canadian farms at the Cooperative’s Annual General Meeting. The award recognizes hard work and dedication.

“For a milk producer, it’s like winning the Stanley Cup,” said Morin, who noted there are three things necessary to produce quality milk. “Cleanliness, careful attention to detail, and to be very present with your herd.”

According to Agropur President Roger Massicotte, the Club of Excellence has contributed to the quality that Agropur is so well known for today, not only in Canada, but across the United States and overseas.
