Even as Police took down caution tape on Thursday morning, light smoke could be seen rising from the scattered remnants of the Magog house. Now just a pile of rubble surrounded by ashy, discoloured ice, the former hotel left a mark on the community that became very clear as soon as news of Wednesday’s fire reached the community.
