The Parents en action du Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Memphrémagog launched its Forgotten Treasure initiative last week, a pilot project mimicking community book-sharing boxes, except it replaces novels and textbooks with an assortment of children’s toys.
Manon Paradis, a project officer and guidance counsellor at Parents en action, told The Record that the box, which is located at Maison De La Famille Memphrémagog, is available at any hour throughout the entire week. The project came to life after a brainstorming session.
