Cookshire-Eaton IGA creates new delivery schedule

Record Staff

Due to the high volume of calls they are currently receiving for their delivery services, the Cookshire-Eaton IGA has created a delivery schedule so that they can serve each village once a week. According to the schedule, residents of Johnville, Birchton, and Martinville will be delivered to on Mondays. Residents of Island Brook, Newport, La Patrie Notre-Dame-des-Bois, and Chartierville will be delivered to on Tuesdays and residents of Bury and Scotstown will be delivered to on Wednesdays. On Thursdays, delivery services will be available to residents living in Eaton Corner, Sawyerville, St-Isidore-de-Clifton, Randboro, St-Malo, and St-Mathias and on Fridays to residents living in Westbury, Lingwick, and Bishopton. Residents living in Cookshire can have their groceries delivered every day of the week except for on Sundays.
This delivery service is free but if you choose to have your groceries delivered on a day that does not correspond to the schedule, fees will be applied that depend on what area you live in. A four-dollar assembly charge is also applied to each order to help pay the employees preparing them.
Phone calls for grocery deliveries can be made between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday to Saturday at 819-875-5455.
