The Regional Hockey League 4 of 7 final series is tied again after the Warwick Cougars defeated the Desjardins-Wild 3-0 in Windsor on Saturday afternoon.

Cougars goaltender Kevin Tardif stopped all 36 shots to help his team tie the series at 2-2.

Marc-Antoine Chartier scored what turned out to be the winning goal at 4:58 of the first period. It was his fourth goal of the series.

Frederic Levis doubled the visitors’ lead just 37 seconds into the second period.

Yannick Ethier completed the scoring by sending the puck into an empty net with 43 seconds left in the game.

Sean Julien had nothing to be ashamed of in front of the home net as he faced 46 shots.

The HRL Championship Series will be played on Saturday or Sunday in Windsor or Warwick.

The schedule for the remaining games in this final series reads as follows.
– Friday, April 22 – 8:30 p.m. at Warwick (Series tied 2-2)
– Saturday, April 23 – 8:30 p.m. at Centre J.-A.-Lemay
IF NECESSARY
– Sunday, April 24 – 4 p.m. at Warwick
