Three men were arrested early Monday morning after a violent home invasion of the residence of a young couple on Federal Street in Sherbrooke.
Three men broke into the home at about 1:10 a.m. and assaulted the 19-year old man and his 17-year old partner. During the scuffle, one of the invaders cut the young man’s arm with a knife.
The robbers fled the scene with a game console, jewelry and cell phones before being stopped by police just a few meters away. The three were arrested without incident and the three, aged 20, 23 and 28, are all known to police and will appear today in Sherbrooke to face charges of robbery, break and enter, assault, and theft.
