Cowansville inmate’s death deemed suspicious

The death of Cowansville prison inmate Jonathan Finnamore, aged 30, was confirmed last week, launching an investigation into the cause of his death by Correctional Service Canada.
Finnamore was found unconscious in his cell on Friday, May 13. Prison officials attempted to revive him and had to send him to the local hospital, Brome Missisquoi-Perkins, where he died on Friday evening at 7:55 p.m.

Correctional Service Canada has launched a thorough investigation into Finnamore’s death, which is deemed suspicious.
