Cross-Canada official languages consultations stop in Sherbrooke

Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Federal Minister of Official Languages and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency was in Sherbrooke on Thursday as part of an ongoing consultation process for the federal government’s action plan on official languages.
“Our next action plan is for 2023 to 2028,” the minister said, explaining that the feedback gathered through this consultation process will be used on the creation of that plan, which serves as a starting point for official language policy and programs from the federal government. “I want to make sure everyone can see themselves in this action plan.”
