According to the Quebec Public Health Institute, the province has 49,139 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 541 from the day before. Of those, 932 are in the Estrie region.
There were 89 new deaths recorded in the last day, bringing the total in Quebec to 4,228.
There are currently 1378 patients hospitalized due to the virus, a decrease of 25. Of those, 184 are in intensive care, up 3 from the day before.
The Public Health institute is reporting that 15,319 people have recovered from COVID-19.
