The Workers of the CPE Tout-petit Toute petite were out on University Boulevard in Sherbrooke on Monday morning as a part of a strike by daycares affiliated with the Fédération des intervenantes en petite enfance du Québec (FIPEQ-CSQ). Organized picketing and/or gatherings took place in six different administrative regions of Quebec, including the Estrie, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Montreal, Quebec City, Montérégie, and Chaudière-Appalaches.
Five daycares in the Estrie region were engaged in Monday’s strike action, including Tout-petit Toute petite as well as the CPE L’Ensoleillé, CPE La petite étoile, the CPE Imagemo’s Arc en ciel facility, and CPE Manche de pelle.
