Dégustabière’s tap runs dry: Sherbrooke beer fest finished after 5th edition

Dégustabière, Sherbrooke’s home-grown, gourmet beer festival, is no more. Faced with difficulty in passing the torch and low motivation to continue the work themselves, the event’s Board of Directors brought the question of dissolution to a general assembly at the end of last month, where the decision was unanimously made not plan a sixth edition. Jonathan Rondeau-Leclaire, President and co-founder of the organization, reminded The Record that the Dégustabière team took a year off in 2018 after their fifth edition in the name of regrouping and finding new energy.
