At this time of year Snowbird sightings are pretty common, flocking back to the Townships after enjoying a warm winter down south. But this year, a different kind of Snowbird passed over the Townships for a visit.
As part of Operation Inspiration, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds took off on a cross-country flight last week to salute Canadians doing their part to fight the spread of COVID-19 and boost morale.
The nine-jet formation was spotted flying over Granby on Thursday, May 7.
