Anyone who has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine but has not received electric confirmation of the second dose date, either by text or email, may be wise to call and check the status of the appointment by calling 1-877-644-4545.
The Record was contacted by Townshipper Marlene Simmons, who received the vaccine in Cowansville on April 19. She was given a slip of paper with the date for her second dose, but never received email or text confirmation. When she called the CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS, she discovered her appointment was not in the system. Simmons posted about the issue on the Sutton Ami Facebook page, and several other locals commented having the same problem.
