This photo was sent to The Record by Cal Haddad. On Jan. 1 his parents Diana and Allen spotted three bald eagles perched in a tree in their backyard. Hadad’s mother had time to record a 30-second video of the three birds of prey before one flew off.
“This is a rare sight in the Eastern Townships!” Haddad said, adding that one of the eagles returned just the other day for another visit.
Looks like the three eagles were enjoying the view of Baltimore Bay/Black Point, visible in the background of the photo.
