East Bolton referendum says no to bylaw change

Despite a February 16 letter sent to eligible East Bolton voters from Mayor Joan Eby on behalf of council, the almost 70 per cent turnout demonstrated that just 5 per cent accept council’s proposal to make changes in the zoning bylaw that would ultimately give Bell the go-ahead to erect a cellular tower in the area of Route 243 (Bolton Pass).
