Eastern Townships sending a record cohort to Canada Games

Late last week, Excellence Sportive Sherbrooke (ESS) announced the qualification of 27 athletes for the 2022 Canada Games, which will be held in Niagara Falls from Aug 6 to 21. Having been able to provide significant support to nearly 40 athletes in their quest to qualify for these Games over the last 24 months thanks to the 2013 Canada Games Legacy Fund and Desjardins, ESS, is proud to highlight this record cohort for the Estrie region.
“The Impulsion program made a huge difference in my preparation for the Canada Games thanks to the training camp, massage therapy, physiotherapy and nutrition services,” said Sophie Ba, one for the qualifying athletes in athletics. «It’s official, we can say mission accomplished! I will have the chance to take part in the 400m individual and in the relay.”
