Ed ministry says air quality in schools is acceptable

The ministry of education released the complete results of air quality testing (carbon dioxide (CO2) levels, temperature and humidity levels) done in school buildings across Quebec. According to the ministry, the results are acceptable, with 51.2 per cent of classrooms registering CO2 levels below the province’s 1,000 parts per million (ppm) target.
The testing, which began last December, was carried out in close to 15,000 classrooms in 2,906 schools across Quebec.
