This year’s edition of the annual empty bowls fundraiser will take place on Saturday Nov 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 37 Moulton Hill in Lennoxville. As has been the case over the last two years, the event will be a simple bowl sale, rather than a community meal.
“It’s another edition of empty ‘empty bowls,’” Doheny said, explaining that although the origins of the fundraiser come from a movement that pairs potters with a simple meal to combat hunger in the community, the local reality has been that the event does better when people are just invited to come buy the bowls directly.
