Experts unite against CAQ kindergarten proposal

Record Staff – The Quebec Council of Early Childhood Education Services (CQSEPE) and the Federation of Early Childhood Workers of Quebec (FIPEQ-CSQ) tabled a petition Wednesday with more than 40,000 signatories demanding the government stop the universal deployment of Kindergarten for 4 year-olds and to recognize the expertise of the educational services network in CPE and in the public family environment. The petition was sponsored by Joliette MNA Véronique Hivon, and supported by Westmount-Saint-Louis MNA. Jennifer Maccarone and Sherbrooke MNA Christine Labrie.
