The Sherbrooke Expos are patiently waiting on two famous words: “Play ball!”
On April 21, in front of approximately 50 people in attendance at Amédée-Roy stadium, the local baseball club announced several changes taking place for the upcoming 2023 season.
According to team President Denis Pelletier, the changes made will help enhance the fan experience while simultaneously putting together a competitive team on the diamond.
“After a full year of learning and understanding our organization, we’re now ready to take things to another level,” said Pelletier. “Our expectations are high this season and our goal is to fill the stadium”.
Last year, the Expos were disappointed with their regular season as they went 12-18, good for fifth and last place in the Louisville Slugger Division standings.
In the off-season, the organization got to work.
