Francois Legault is planning to get every person in the Eastern Townships a family doctor by 2022. Speaking alongside four of his local candidates in front of the CHUS in Fleurimont on Wednesday morning, the Coalition Avenir Quebec (CAQ) leader said that he considers the lack of front-line medical care in the province to be the “greatest failure” of the Liberal Party in the last 15 years and proposed changing the way in which general practitioners are paid in order to promote patient care and ensure proper coverage for all.
