The Festibière de Sherbrooke will offer a different slate of events to accommodate Quebec’s health and safety measures, as well as the upcoming mandatory vaccine passport for non-essential activities.
“This year is very different from what we usually do. We’re doing a tour of the microbreweries in the Eastern Townships. There won’t be any large in-person events,” said Stéphanie Lepage, the festival’s director.
The Festibière is turning into a beer tour, moving through eight different microbreweries in the Eastern Townships between Sept. 8 and 12. The festival kicks off at Le Sage Brasseur at 5 p.m. on Sept. 8 and there will be live music, according to a press release.
