The sixth edition of Sherbrooke’s Festival du Cinema du Monde began last Thursday night with a launch party at the Pizzicato restaurant on King Street followed by a red-carpet event and debut screening at La Maison du Cinema next door. Through the weekend and over the coming week the festival will continue to hold screenings for more than 130 short and feature length films in venues all over the city.
