There are 60 scholarships available to Townshippers interested in joining the final cohort of the accelerated training program to become a long-term care préposé aux bénéficiaires (orderly).
The training will be offered in Granby, Coaticook, Sherbrooke (including Lennoxville in English), Windsor and Magog beginning in September.
Applicants who are accepted will receive a $9,210 bursary while attending the three-month training. Registration closes Aug. 15.
Upon completion of the Soutien aux soins d’assistance en établissement de santé training, a guaranteed long-term job awaits trained PABs in one of the 26 CHSLDs of the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS.
