A fire that broke out Sunday evening at a Kruger storage facility on Boulevard Bourque housing dry materials for the company was under control but still burning Monday afternoon, according to the Sherbrooke Fire Prevention service (SPIS). “It’s contained, but not under control yet,” commented Daniel Gingras, chief of the SPIS around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. The fire first broke out at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening in a large pile of dry material roughly 200 feet long by 40 feet wide, Gingras said.
