It was a good weekend for young Townshippers to get out and see a firetruck or two, as stations across the region held open house events to recognize fire prevention week. In Sherbrooke the public was welcomed to the William-Percy-Donahue Fire Station on Terrill Street on Saturday for demonstrations of equipment, the chance to climb inside a few trucks, and various prevention and safety-themed activities.
