Newly appointed Director General Kandy Mackey addressed the Eastern Townships School Board (ETSB) council of commissioners and guests publically for the first time at Tuesday evening’s meeting. While the tradition is usually for a new DG to introduce themselves to the council, Mackey, with 21 years of experience with the ETSB as a teacher, principal and director, referred to the small learning curve and said she was ready to get to work.
