Vocational training professors are set to receive more resources with the launch of the Observatoire de la formation professionnelle du Québec, a project funded by Quebec’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The observatory is a product of five institutions: the Université du Québec à Montréal, the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, the Université du Québec à Rimouski, the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue and the Université de Sherbrooke
“It’s a few years now that we’ve worked all together, but we decided to officially group together and work in unison to establish resources and tools to allow teachers to develop,” said Chantale Beaucher, a vocational training professor at the Université de Sherbrooke.
