Just in time for the winter storm warning that is rolling through the region today, the Conseil Sport et Loisir De L’Estrie (CSLE) is encouraging people across the townships to get out their shovels and go build a snow fort. For the first time since its creation in 2011, the Estrie is a participating region in the Défi Chateau de Neige, a province-wide snow fort building competition that is open to participants of all ages. “It is really open to anyone,” said Marie-Josée Tardif, recreation councilor with the CSLE. “You can do it at home with your family on the weekend, take a photo, and register it online.” The website for registration is www.defichateaudeneige.ca
