By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – The Bishop’s University women’s hockey team left for Frisco, Texas on March 27 for the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Nationals, but their journey came to an end on March 30, after a heartbreaking 6-2 loss against the Minot State Beavers. “I think that the result doesn’t reflect at all that we have played,” said coach Dominic Desmarais after the Saturday loss. “In the third period, we were down by four and our girls came back very hard and they competed as we wanted to compete, and until the end, so I’m very proud of them.” See full story in the Monday, April 1 edition of The Record.
