By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – Alexander Galt Regional High School’s Healthy Lifestyles Initiative was established around ten years ago and it is still a successful to this day. “It’s an afternoon dedicated to engaging students in different activities to promote healthy living, both physically and mentally, as both are equally important,” said Kyle Martel, student activities coordinator at Galt. The activities ran during the afternoon on Friday, April 12. Students had the opportunity to choose between a plethora of off-campus activities, such as trampoline fun at O-Volt in Sherbrooke, a nature hike at the Johnville bog, and skating, swimming, and access to the open gym at Bishop’s University.
