Record Staff – Lennoxville’s Giant Pumpkin and Harvest Festival will be held this Sunday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fire Hall on Samuel-Gratham St. behind the Lennoxville Borough Office. The popular annual event has been organized in partnership with the Lennoxville Volunteer Firefighters Association Inc., the Giant Pumpkin Association, and Clarke & Sons, and offers a family friendly day with a multitude of activities for young and old alike. Last year, in what was widely considered a difficult growing year, Young’s pumpkin came in third place. This year, Young ‘guestimates’ that his pumpkin is in the 550-pound range, so he hopes it will place well. See full story in the Friday, October 12 edition of The Record.
