Lennoxville’s giant pumpkin festival will be back this year for the first time since 2019. On Sunday, Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the annual autumn celebration of mammoth pumpkins and the arrival of fall will once again be held in the space around the Amédée Beaudoin community centre.
“It should be back to normal,” said Lennoxville Borough President Claude Charron.
While the local pumpkin growing association manages matters related specifically to the showing and weighing of the pumpkins, the city is responsible for many of the other aspects of the festival. Charron said that so far, it is looking like the event will have more artisan kiosks than in the past, and a similar array of other activities for families like horse-drawn wagon rides.
