When the leaves finally give way, just before the gray sets in, the fall offers one more sweet treat for Townshippers – apples. In fairness, some like them a bit more tart. To each their own. Local orchards are blooming and bustling these days with a wide variety of apples. And for those who miss the apple picking window, an inside source from Grace Village Pavilion told The Record that in the coming weeks, there may be a few apple pies for sale-say, around a thousand.
