Granby Hospital facing labour shortage, calls for volunteers

According to a press release sent out by the CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS labour shortages at the Granby Hospital have made it difficult to maintain the services offered to the population and are impacting the capacities of the teams in place.
In an effort ensure the safety and quality of care offered to the population and avoid service disruptions, the health authority has launched a call for volunteer nurses, nursing assistants, PABs and managers of the establishment to work overtime. The initiative will last for three weeks, until May 21. The first shifts requiring volunteers start Friday evening, April 23.
