Grace Village participated on Saturday in The Grand Parade, a fundraising walk held across Canada to benefit charities that support seniors.
Over 50 walkers took to the streets of Huntingville in Lennoxville, hearing some words of thanks first from Andrea Eastman, Interim Executive Director of Grace Village, and David Price, President of the Grace Village Care Foundation. Deputée Geneviève Hébert shared as well, and then sounded the horn to start the Parade! Most participants did 5km around the neighbourhood, but it was referred to as a “Walk & Roll” for a reason – some residents and friends & family members rolled around the neighbourhood in wheelchairs!
