Grandes-Fourches work moves ahead

The work to improve drainage and subterranean infrastructure under sections of Grandes-Fourches Boulevard and Meadow street in downtown Sherbrooke is now well and clearly underway. First begun at the beginning of the month of August, the work is one of the first steps in the project to eventually replace the ailing Grandes Fourches bridge and reroute the major Boulevard in order to help revitalize the local neighborhood and reclaim some of the shoreline of the Saint-Francis and Magog rivers as green space.
