Great food drive for ­children under way in the Townships

Moisson Estrie, the Sherbrooke-based food bank and social assistance organization, is one of four similar organizations across the province participating in the Great Food Drive for Children, a special campaign aimed specifically at helping parents and children living in poverty. Although the project is called “the Great Food Drive” its organizers note that there are all kinds of ways that people can contribute. Monetary donations, as well as food and baby care items like infant formula, canned enriched formula, baby food jars, instant cereal, diapers, wet wipes or other non-perishable foods are all accepted.
