By Matthew McCully – On Friday, well-known retired family doctor Curtis Lowry celebrated his 100th birthday.
A party was held in the afternoon among friends and family at Grace Village Pavilion.
Born and raised in Sawyerville, Lowry started a practice in 1948 and served the community for 55 years, retiring in 2003 at the age of 85. See full story in the Monday, July 23 edition of The Record.
