Grace Village Pavilion brought out the good china on Monday afternoon so friends and loved ones could wish Ada Hicks a happy 100th birthday.
Joined by her daughter Jean, visiting from Harrison, BC, and several friends, Ada enjoyed snacks and tea in the afternoon, along with a few laughs.
When asked the secret to a long and happy life, Hicks said it’s important to keep busy rather than just sit around.
