In yesterday’s Record, a brief was published advising readers that the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS will be distributing a guide to health services through Publisac on Jan.24.
Readers have since contacted the paper asking if the guide will be in English or only in French.
The Record contacted CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS Marie-France Thibeault, who confirmed that the guide distributed in Jan.24 Publisac will be in French only.
Thibeault then pointed out that an English version of the guide is available on the CHUS website at
www.santeestrie.qc.ca/soins-services/pour-tous/guide-sante.
There is a link at the bottom of the website page to either view or download a printable English version of the guide.
Thibeault added that The French version being distributed next week includes the website address for anyone who would like access to the document in English.
The role of the guide is to direct people to the right resources at the right time and help them make informed decisions about their health and that of others when presented with symptoms of flu or gastroenteritis.
