While some locals have avoided the heat wave by the pool, or in the comfort of air conditioning, most farmers have been facing the heat head on. Make hay while the sun is shining is no myth. Most local farmers are on their first cut of the season. Below is a collection of photos of some farmers from across the Townships taking time to say a quick hey from the hayfield.
