Hockey Sherbrooke offers parents an opportunity to “Chase the Ace”

In an attempt to reduce financial pressure on parents, Hockey Sherbrooke has created a lottery style game to raise funds to improve the services offered to young players.

Parents of the 1,500 players in the Hockey Sherbrooke system, playing across 110 teams, will have the chance to “Chase the Ace”. Each week, Hockey Sherbrooke will sell tickets via a digital platform.

Tickets (the price has not yet been determined) will be on sale from Friday to the following Wednesday. Thursday at 12:30 p.m., there will be a draw via Facebook Live to determine the winner of the week.

Stéphane Dion, General Manager of Hockey Sherbrooke explained the winner will then have an opportunity to draw for the Ace of Spades. Following the draw, this person will be invited to draw a playing card on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Resto Bar Chez Stanley in Sherbrooke.
