Holiday fireworks require City permit

On the eve of festivities for Saint Jean Baptiste Day and Canada Day, the City of Sherbrooke is reminding the public that it is forbidden to use fireworks without first obtaining a domestic fireworks permit. This permit is issued free of charge by the Fire Protection Service after an inspector has verified that the use of fireworks is in accordance with the appropriate municipal by-law.
