By Matthew McCully – Now in its eighth year, the Hope Community Church’s Christmas lunch attracted a full house on Tuesday afternoon. “We just love to do it,” said Paul McLean, as he greeted guests coming in from the cold. Elaine Lebourveau, who coordinates the kitchen, said this year 17 turkeys were prepared, along with 110 pounds of potatoes, 50 pounds of carrots, 20 kilos of peas, and ‘tons’ of stuffing.
