There was no shortage of activities and entertainment as friends and neighbours gathered for turkey and all the trimmings at noon on Monday in the church basement. According to Elaine Lebourveau, who coordinates the kitchen efforts, 18 turkeys were prepared for this year’s feast, along with 85 pounds of potatoes and 55 pounds of carrots. “The food is all donated by church members,” Lebourveau said, pointing out that Lorraine’s Bakery donates the cake each year.
